OUR STORY
More Than an
Organization. A Purpose.
Before there was The Dailey Institute, there was a dream. Not the dream of building a business. The dream of creating a better future for children, families, and individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
story
Where the Dream Began
The Dailey Institute was inspired by the vision of its co-founder, Jayne Dailey, whose lifelong commitment to serving children, families, and individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities laid the foundation for everything the Institute stands for today.
Long before Thrive Hive ABA was founded, Jayne dedicated her career to serving individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. As an Assistant Director at a residential facility, she witnessed the life-changing impact that compassionate leadership, individualized support, and meaningful relationships could have on a person’s future.
When her career later led her into Applied Behavior Analysis, she found another opportunity to serve, this time alongside children with autism and their families.
Every day brought moments of hope and progress.
But it was the experiences of families that stayed with her.
Night after night, those experiences became conversations around our kitchen table.
Parents searching for answers.
Families overwhelmed by complicated systems.
Children whose potential wasn’t always recognized.
Parents who wanted someone to truly listen.
Over time, those conversations all led to the same question:
What if we could do better?
A Dream Takes Shape
Those conversations became a vision
- What if families were treated like partners instead of paperwork?
- What if every child was surrounded by people who truly believed in their potential?
- What if parents received honest guidance instead of being left to navigate difficult decisions alone?
- What if trust was earned before the first therapy session ever began?
- What if every professional entering a family's home reflected the highest standards of professionalism, preparation, and accountability?
That Dream Became Our Vision.
The First Chapter
That dream became Thrive Hive ABA.
Thrive Hive ABA was never created simply to provide ABA therapy.
It was created to prove that Clinical Excellence and compassion belong together.
That families deserve honesty.
That children deserve to be known before they are evaluated.
That success should never be measured by the number of therapy hours provided, but by the confidence, independence, and opportunities a child gains along the way.

Thrive Hive ABA was never created simply to provide ABA therapy.
The Next Chapter
Families needed more than clinical care
They needed education, trusted resources, advocacy, and a community that would continue walking beside them. What we experienced through Thrive Hive reinforced something that had been at the heart of the dream from the beginning: a lifelong commitment to serving individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities and the families who support them.
The dream has never changed.
Only its reach has grown.
ABA became the first chapter.
The Dailey Institute
is the continuation of that story.
Today, Thrive Hive ABA proudly serves as the Founding Clinical Program of The Dailey Institute while the Institute expands that same mission through education, family resources, professional collaboration, community partnerships, and future programs designed to support individuals with autism and other intellectual and developmental disabilities throughout every stage of life.
Our Philosophy
Purpose
Before Profit
Children
Before Numbers
Families
Before Everything
These are the principles
that guide every decision we make.
We believe care should build independence, not dependence.
Success is measured by the life a child is prepared to live, not by the number of therapy hours they receive.
Every child deserves to be seen for their potential.
Every family deserves to be heard.
Every recommendation begins with one question:
What is truly best for this child?
Looking Forward
What began as conversations around a kitchen table has become the foundation for something much larger.
Our vision extends beyond therapy. We aspire to create educational opportunities, expand family services, strengthen community partnerships, and one day establish a school where children with autism and other intellectual and developmental disabilities can continue learning, growing, and preparing for meaningful, independent lives.
Because this dream was never about building a company. It has always been about building a better future for the people we serve.
